Incoming Video Lost

Using FarPlay on my HP laptop, version 1.3.0. Video has always been wonky. At first was getting incoming video perfectly and so was my connected instructor who started the session. At that time, I was not getting a video of myself, however incoming audio and video was acceptable. Suddenly, at a new session, the incoming video was dark and shadowy, unintelligible. Video of me started working fine. Incoming audio was good. My instructor heard and saw me fine. What’s up here? I am using the camera on the laptop which has been working fine for other zoom or skype applications. Advice pleeze!
