FarPlay co-creators Dan Tepfer and Anton Runov contributed to the JackTrip open-source project together, but FarPlay itself was written from scratch in C++ and doesn’t contain any JackTrip code. FarPlay uses custom-built latency management to keep the delay between sound capture at one site and sound playback at another site as constant as possible at the sample-accurate level.
