Dear Michael,
Turning on video does use bandwidth but shouldn’t affect FarPlay’s latency in a small-group session in which everyone has good connections. We recommend that all participants have at least 50 Mbit/s of upload speed, and we recommend using FarPlay for sessions with up to around 8 participants (we know of a group that sometimes rehearses with 10 or more participants).
If you have some participants with particularly low upload bandwidth, ask them to stop sending video or to reduce their video bandwidth using the steps at this forum post.
