Apologies: it turns out the end with the multiple internal networks was your teacher’s end. I’d suggest turning your teacher’s computer’s VPN off, checking that their computer’s Ethernet cable is plugged into the router that receives the internet signal where it first enters their home, and turning off the firewall on their computer. On your end, try rebooting your router.
