My colleagues tried the port forwarding (from your comment “ask the remote musicians in the United States you’re trying to connect to to use custom ports.”), but to no avail, we still got the same error message.
I haven’t tried asking the internet provider here for a public IP, I’ll have to try this as a next step, I thought there was a way around this, I tried using a VPN as well but that also didn’t work.
