Installation Does Not Work on PC or Mac

Most recent version (1.2.5).
Mac: Sonoma 14.2.1. Downloaded .dmg dragged into Applications folder, but the instructions to drag to the application folder do not go away and the program cannot open. Uninstall/reinstall did not work.
Windows: Windows 11. Installation wizard appears to complete, but when i try to open, I get an exe system error, “The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.” Repair did not work, nor did uninstall/reinstall.

Mac: I’d like to check that the icon you dragged into the Applications folder was the one that was inside the instructions (see below), is that right?
If the correct icon was dragged, then inside your Applications folder, you would have seen the icon on the left (see screenshot below). If the .dmg icon was accidentally dragged, you would, instead, have seen the icon on the right in your Applications folder.
Windows: Please install the missing Microsoft files from https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe. This download link is included in our QuickStart instructions for Windows at https://farplay.io/quickstart/?os=win.

P.S. When opening a newly installed copy of FarPlay on a Mac, please click the Open button when your Mac asks you whether to allow FarPlay to run.
