If your speedtest at https://speedtest.net reveals substantially higher latencies/pings “under load” (while downloading or uploading a lot of data), it’s possible that your router suffers from bufferbloat, but it’s also possible that there is a bottleneck elsewhere, for example, at your provider’s end.
