Hi Dan,
Yes, the forum post at https://farplay.io/forum/topic/i-want-to-bring-system-audio-from-a-youtube-video-in-chrome-or-some-music-id-like-to-play-in-audacity-for-example-into-my-farplay-session/ links to four example ways to bring audio in from another app into FarPlay. Try option # 2 (use two copies of FarPlay). That option doesn’t require additional equipment, and it lets each participant adjust the volume of the play-along track in their headphones.
Do you have an external mixer? If you do and you prefer to adjust the volume of the play-along track using a physical gain knob, use option # 4.
If you’d like, I can explain how to create an aggregate audio device on a Mac to bring your microphone/instrument audio and play-along audio together into FarPlay using FarPlay’s input mixer.
Thank you,
David Liao
