Poor Video Quality

    Thank you for using Ethernet connections. Please check that Wi-Fi’s off on each computer. In both homes, check that the Ethernet cable connected to the computer (or USB-to-Ethernet adapter, if you use one) is plugged into the router that receives the internet signal where it first enters the home (avoid wireless extender/repeater routers and Ethernet-over-power adapters).

    Check that each home is using fiber or cable internet, instead of cellular internet. Turn off network filtering and packet inspection (for example in macOS’s Network settings).

    Could you share the names of the internet providers you use?

    Would you and your friend please each do a speed test using the following steps? Go to https://fast.com. Wait for the test of download speed to finish. Then, click the “Show more info” button. Wait for the test of the ping and upload speed to finish. Then, take a screenshot and email the results to support@farplay.io. In addition to your upload speeds, I’m interested in your IP addresses: if one of your IP addresses doesn’t match your internet provider, one of your connections might have something similar to a VPN, even if VPN isn’t turned on on your computers.
