S:\ Drive Invalid
-
I have a network NAS I’ve setup, and have mounted it as my S:\ drive. I moved my windows profile to this drive to make it backup easier and to be faster to run programs and stuff. when I try to install farplay, even if I want to install it on my C:\ drive, it constantly fails and says the S drive is invalid. I even tried to disconnect the S drive, and it STILL says it’s invalid. Can I just set it to install on a specific drive instead of it trying to read my stupid hardware setup??

Thank you for your question. If installing to C:\ fails even after rebooting (maybe you already tried that), please download and extract this .zip archive of FarPlay 1.3.1 for Windows. You can run farplay.exe directly from the extracted folder.
Thank you,

That works, thanks David!!! Now I need someone who can join a test session for me 🙂
That’s great! In preparation for your first call, we recommend using our QuickStart guide to test your audio (you can do the steps in section 3, “Configure and test your audio”, before connecting to anyone).
I will also contact you separately during the day.
Thank you,

I reinstalled my Operating System and that appears to have fixed the issue. I have a new issue though, so I’ll open a new incident. You may close this one.
Glad reinstalling your OS seems to have solved the problem. Thanks for letting us know.
