Where to download ASIO drivers for iRig Stream Mic USB
-
Dear Windows users,
I recently helped a user install the ASIO drivers for their iRig Stream Mic USB on their Windows PC. Installing the manufacturer-supplied ASIO drivers is needed to get the lowest possible latency with this mic on Windows.
For convenience, here are links for getting these drivers.
- If you just got your iRig Stream Mic USB, use its serial number (on a card in the box) to register your mic at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/registration/. Create an account with IK Multimedia, if you don’t have one yet.
- Go to https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea. If you need to log in to your IK Multimedia account again, click the silhouette near the shopping cart at the top-right corner of the page. Click Driver Downloads. Then, click the red Windows button to download your mic’s ASIO drivers. Run the installer.
- From here, set up your iRig mic with FarPlay using the version of our QuickStart guide customized for using external audio interfaces with Windows.
Thank you,
David Liao
