Dear Ted,
Thank you for your message. When this happens, can you try clicking on the “Headphones:” pull-down menu in the Devices subpanel, switching to “No Audio,” and then switching back to the audio playback device you want to use? This resets the audio system and sometimes helps.
Are you on Mac or Windows? What audio device are you using (external audio interface, built-in sound card, or, for example, USB headset)?
Thank you,
David Liao

Thanks for the speedy reply.
I am on a Mac using headphones out of a Focusright interface.
I dont see a devices subpanel?
The devices subpanel is in the middle of FarPlay’s main window (which is displayed when you’re in a session).
Does sound cut out in the same way if you use your headphones plugged directly into your Mac?
Thank you,
David Liao

Hi Ted, this is a really unusual issue. We encountered it once before with someone who was using a very old Mac. What model are you on?
