Strange audio today

Hello FP staff.
Today I had a lesson with an habitual student.
There was a strange behavior in the audio.
Se sent his signal as MONO like usual, but I was listening in STEREO from his channel, with myself in the left channel (with some delay) and his audio on my right channel.
I wasn’t able to cancel my “echo” voice. He was on headphones f course.
In the recorded files, I’ve noticed that in my “single” video there was only my audio, but in the student’s file there was his and mine as well. Never happened before, with him or any other session!
Today I’ll have other sessions and I can observe if this happens again!

You’re so welcome. Thanks for letting us know this good news! If the problem happens with this morning’s student again, could we still try to get a screenshot of his General Options page?
Interested to see which audio devices he has selected; some audio devices have a loopback feature that can cause echo. Loopback echo is typically fixed by pushing a button on a USB mixer (see blog post) or using an audio interface’s mixing/routing software.
