Can I use FarPlay to connect 2 musicians 2000 miles apart?

My brother and I are hoping to use Farplay to jam together. My brother lives 2000 miles away. Before he buys a USB mixer to connect to his computer, can FarPlay be used to connect 2 musicians 2000 miles apart? or will the transit delay cause the latency to be too high?

Thanks for your question. At 2000 miles, you can jam together at modest and slow tempos, but not with fast music like the math metal in this example from three locations in Brooklyn.
