internet connection drops in FarPlay

    Thanks for your question. When FarPlay has connectivity problems, but other apps on the same computer have normal connectivity, please try the following.

    • Go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet and put the Wi-Fi toggle switch in the off position.
    • With Wi-Fi off, check that your PC can browse websites normally. If not, reboot your PC again. If your PC still can’t browse the web, reboot your router.
    • If your PC still isn’t connected to the internet, go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet and check whether it says “Connected” under “Ethernet”. If not, try this Ethernet-to-USB-C adapter we recommend (if you prefer to use a USB-A port, try this Ethernet-to-USB-A adapter).

    (Sometimes, a computer tries to use Wi-Fi even when the Ethernet cable and adapter are plugged in; turning Wi-Fi off prevents this).
