Dear Paul,
Please have all users in the affected trio who use macOS Sequoia or higher (Tahoe, for example) go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, choose Local Network, and make sure the toggle switch to give FarPlay permission is in the on position.

If the participants continue to be unable to connect, could one of them share a screenshot of the “FarPlay couldn’t establish a connection” pop-up message, if it appears?
