download

  • Dear Arvind,

Thanks for your request. Please try the following.

If the trust/confirmation message appeared in Microsoft Edge when you tried to download the installer, open the downloads list in your browser and hover your mouse on the FarPlay installer you tried to download. A More actions (three-dots button) will appear next to your file. Click those three dots and then click Keep. In the warning message that appears, click Show more and then click Keep anyway.

If you finished downloading the FarPlay installer file, double-click it. If you see a message that says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info and then click Run anyway. (The “Run anyway” button only appears after you click “More info”).

If you do not see “Windows protected your PC”, right-click the FarPlay file you downloaded and click Properties. At the bottom of the General tab that appears, click to uncheck the Unblock checkbox (if available) and then click OK. Double-click the FarPlay installer again.

If the trust/confirmation message you see shows the name of a security program (for example Norton), then that security program, not Windows, is blocking the file. In that case, open that security program and use it to allow the FarPlay installer to run.

If this doesn’t fix the problem, please share a screenshot of the trust/confirmation message.

    Thank you,
    David Liao
