Go to FarPlay Preferences, and under Audio Buffer Size, choose the smallest value that still gives you clean sound. On Macs, you should be able to go as low as 16 without issue. On PC, for your Audio Buffer Size (or ASIO Buffer Size, if you’re using ASIO drivers), try 64, then 32, then 16, checking each time that the sound you hear in your headphones when monitoring your own audio is free of crackling.

Note that if you’re on PC, we’ve seen a few instances where choosing an Audio Buffer of 16 samples actually increased local latency compared to an Audio Buffer of 32 samples — so you should take a look at how changing your Audio Buffer Size affects your local latency reading.
