Please follow the steps in the short video below, which is part of our blog post that fixes distorted audio in Windows.
Some Windows PCs try to alter microphone audio to make speech sound clearer, but this can silence high notes (and make audio muffled or garbled). The trick is to turn signal enhancements off on your PC.
