Correction/clarification: My friend’s mid-2012 MacBook Air laptop can indeed connect to a session with 3 other copies of FarPlay with video (4 total copies of FarPlay in the session). This worked just now when he used an audio buffer size of 64 (default). He tested using onboard audio. His Mac laptop was previously too slow for a session with 4 participants with video because his audio buffer size (found in Preferences) was previously 16.
