Both plugs are good (each has worked fine in personal experience). I like simply sharing the shopping link for the wired Apple EarPods with the “normal” 3.5-mm plug https://a.co/d/6Aiemyk because some people don’t have a spare port on their computer for the EarPods with the USB-C plug.
