“Local / remote network status: Unknown / NAT” means that the router on the other end (in the United States) supports the peer-to-peer connectivity FarPlay requires, but there’s a problem on your end.
To fix this problem, ask the internet provider you’re using in South America for a public IP address (some internet providers offer this feature for a small additional monthly fee). If the internet provider doesn’t let you get a public IP address, ask the remote musicians in the United States you’re trying to connect to to use custom ports. (Based on the links you copied, I understand you might have already tried these suggestions — would be grateful to know).
