Hi, I’m having trouble saving video recordings from FarPlay- the audio file saves fine, but the video only saves as a text document. One time the video recording saved properly for me, but twice I only got a text document instead. I’m not sure why this is happening, perhaps whether I lost internet connection before it finished processing or perhaps it is another issue? Also, is there any way to recover the video recording once it has saved as a text document, or is it too late?

Thank you for your forum post and our additional communications outside the forum today. We’re still working on your problem, with the help of Anton.

We noted that it’s important to leave the audio files and Temporary files FarPlay saves in their original locations until post-processing for them is done (instructions for recording and post-processing video: https://farplay.io/video/#recording).

Hi Everyone,

The problem is resolved. If .wav files and/or Temporary folders associated with recordings were moved and then returned to the locations where FarPlay originally saved them, quit and restart FarPlay to refresh the information in FarPlay’s Video Post-Processing window. Then you’ll be able to process the recordings.
