Thanks for your question. Please try the first suggestion below. If that doesn’t work, try the second, etc.

Ask each of the participants who uses a Mac to go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network and click the toggle switch to give FarPlay permission to access the local network.
- If one of the other participants uses a 5G cellular or institutional network connection (university, office, etc.), ask whether they can instead use a home fiber/cable internet connection.

Ask each participant to turn VPN off, if used.
- Could one of the other participants share a screenshot of the “FarPlay couldn’t establish a connection … firewalls” error message (if any) on their screen? The message contains information we can use to provide additional suggestions (for example, we’d be able to suggest which of the two participants could try using custom ports).
