- Could you use your Dell laptop (in the church’s sound room, connected by Ethernet, with Wi-Fi off) to open farplay.io in a web browser and share a screenshot?
- Could you email support@farplay.io a photo of the church router (showing where the Ethernet cable from the Dell laptop plugs in)? (I could repost the photo into this thread after blurring private info that might be printed on the router).
- Please check whether your Dell PC has Norton, McAfee, or a similar security app. If so, unblock FarPlay’s access to the internet in the security app either by turning the security app’s firewall off or telling the security app to allow FarPlay to access the internet. If you use Norton, for example, follow Norton’s firewall instructions.
- If FarPlay still can’t connect to the internet, could you write Skyline/Skybest support to ask them to check that they don’t block any of the traffic described in our network requirements?
