Thank you for your question. To fix the connection error, either ask your friend to use custom ports on their end or, on your end, try a different internet connection (not phone hotspot). It’s common for cell-phone internet to block the peer-to-peer connections FarPlay requires, so cell-phone internet is not in our list of recommended internet connections. Where fiber (preferred), cable, and vDSL (European vDSL is often good) are not available, try switching to a home 5G cellular connection. If you still get a connection error, contact your internet providers (yours and your friend’s) to ask for a “Public IP” for each of you (internet providers often provide these for a modest monthly fee).
