Fixed: HyperX SoloCast mic disappeared from macOS

Last week, a Mac user’s HyperX SoloCast USB mic suddenly stopped working. I lost audio from them, and I saw the Remote Latency from them jump briefly from around 20 ms to 162 ms, and then the latency slider became gray. Unplugging and reconnecting the mic didn’t help: the mic’s indicator light illuminated red for roughly a second upon reconnection and then went dark. In Apple menu > System Settings > Sound > Input, the mic wasn’t listed. Rebooting the Mac made the mic work with the Mac again!
