Hello- I”m unable to get settings to work properly for output and input at the same time. Wecan never both hear each other at the same time, either one can hear and the other can’t. I subscribed last March but have never gotten connected to friends. Video comes thru but no audio. Very frustrating.

Thank you for your message. Sorry for the frustration. Could you try the following?

• Please connect your headphones and a mic directly to your Focusrite (if you use an external mixer, disconnect that for testing for now).
• If you’re using a Windows PC, install your Focusrite Scarlett’s Windows drivers.
• Go to the version of our QuickStart guide customized for Windows PCs with external audio interfaces or the version customized for Macs with external audio interfaces.
• Please do the steps in section 3. Configure and test your audio (you can do these steps without connecting to anyone). Could you let us know whether your audio works when you do these steps?

Note: The audio/video connection is the same with or without a subscription; “free mode” (without a subscription) lets you make as many one-on-one test connections as you like.
