HyperX Cloud III Headset Compatibility

Hi,
When connected to my music teacher through FarPlay, I use a HyperX Cloud III headset with a removable microphone. Today the headphone light indicated that I my headset was one and connected to the session. But no the monitor indicated “no sound” while headset was connected to my computer. Only when I disconnected my headset from my computer, my teacher could hear me through the computer and I could htook off the headset she could hear me through my. that is how we progressed.
My teacher suggested perhaps my headset is not compatible with FarPlay. Is this possible?Thank you for any help you can give me.
