local sound is fine but not heard remotely

Hi- I joined my first Farplay session today; remote and local video was fine, and remote sound was fine (very little latency). Also local sound worked fine locally but was not heard remotely by other members of the session. Any idea what’s wrong? Thanks!

Hi Bob,
Do you mean the remote musicians couldn’t hear anything from your end (including your voice/instrument) or just that the remote musicians couldn’t hear system audio on your computer (music from YouTube, backing track played in Audacity, etc.)?
To bring system audio into your session, use BlackHole (on Mac) or VB Cable (on Windows), as described in our input-mixer instructions (click “Change computer” under “Choose your setup” to switch to instructions for Windows, if you use Windows). Check out this video tutorial too.
