My friend can hear my voice, but not my piano/guitar.

Make sure that your inputs are set to the right channels. Let’s say that your voice mic is plugged into channel 1 of your interface, and your piano/guitar into channel 2. In FarPlay’s main window, go to the section at the top labeled “You (your name).” Set the Channels pull-down menu to Mono Mix 1-2. This will combine channels 1 and 2 into one mono input and your friend will hear both channels.
