I use Windows 11. Why I have to subscribe to authorize new device? what’s lacking for the requirements?

Dear Djoane,

If you’d just like to use FarPlay in “Free Mode”, there’s no need to subscribe or authorize a device. Free Mode lets you create 1:1 sessions of up to 45 minutes in length. You can use Free Mode without logging in (no need to click the “Log in / Subscribe” button in the FarPlay app).

To get started with your first session, simply follow steps 1-9 in our QuickStart guide. In Step Zero: Choose Your Setup, click the “Change computer” and “Change audio” buttons, as needed, to customize the instructions for the computer and audio devices you’re using.
