I’m trying to run my X8 at 96K for a bunch of reasons and I’d like to use FarPlay at the same rate but it keeps switching my X8 back down to 48K. Is it possible to run FarPlay on the X8 at 96K?

Hi Bill,

Yes, please open a FarPlay session first and then afterward use your UAD Console’s Hardware Settings Panel to change your Apollo’s sample rate to 96 kHz.

Interesting … it seems like the FarPlay app locks the bit rate in UA’s Console while its running. When I enter the session in FarPlay, Console locks the rate and then when I exit, I can switch the rate back to 96K. Any thoughts?
